TABLE D’HÔTES
It happens to everyone: Arrive a little late on your holiday destination and then have to drive around to find a suitable address where you can eat something. It won’t happen at Domaine Le Haut Verger, because you are very welcome at our table d’hôtes. Jos has years of experience in the kitchens of several good restaurants. He performs a simple, inventive kitchen with quality products of the season. La cuisine comme il faut, as the French say: cooking as it should. With fresh vegetables, fresh fish & meat, good cheeses and homemade sauces, desserts and pastries.
But of course a good dish is only half the work. That is why we also have a small collection of fine wines at home. Delicious local wines and a varied selection of good wines from other French wine regions.
Dinner is served in the cozy dining room by the French doors overlooking the valley and the Creuse, or, if it gets a little cooler outside, by a crackling fire.
