GÎTE LA REMISE

Here, in the past, people were busy tinkering and polishing the cars of the Lafarge family, which has long been the owner of Domaine Le Haut Verger. La Remise was under La Maison du Jardinier, the gardener’s house. Convenient, because the gardener also acted as a driver.

We have transformed the space into an attractive large living room / bedroom. The separate kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave with grill. Next to the kitchen you will find a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and plenty of towels.

In front of the gîte is a large terrace, with a beautiful view over the valley of the Creuse. There are many pot and tub plants, and large sun loungers and patio furniture are available. You may also use the beautiful terrace next to the manor house.

The cottage is excellent to heat and also suitable for the colder seasons.

Do you not want to take care of breakfast yourself? No problem, we serve you a full breakfast for € 12,00 p.p.

In the early or late season you can rent La Remise for a ‘prix d’ami’ for a longer period of time. We are happy to provide you with further information.

The cottage is accessible to disabled people. We can provide a shower chair.

PETS
We do not allow pets such as dogs and cats in our accommodation and on the grounds. Horses, ponies, donkeys and mules are welcome.

PRICES (for 1 or 2 persons, with linen and tourist tax included):

HIGH SEASON (June – August)

EARLY AND LATE SEASON (September – May)

Compulsory final cleaning costs     € 65,-

Unfortunately, from 2023, the cost of electricity is not fully included in the rent. You will get 8 kWh per day from us, after that you will be charged for the actual electricity consumed (currently around 23 cents per kWh).

*In high season, we only rent by the week, in principle from Saturday to Saturday. Outside the high season, the minimum rental period is 4 nights.
