Le Berry is a beautiful, relatively unknown region.  We are therefore pleased that our guests often find that a first encounter tastes like more. And over the years, we have seen many people come back. We are glad that they find it as beautiful and pleasant here as we do. After all, that is why we started a bed and breakfast here.

Visitors also regularly tell us that they would like to show the region to their friends or family, or go hiking here for a week (Le Berry is an excellent hiking area).

Because of all this, we have special offers for old and new guests who want to come and enjoy a week or more in the early or late season.

And something else. Before we moved to Gargilesse, we often talked about how we would like to combine the accommodation at Le Haut Verger with our great interest in language, music and other cultural expressions. Moreover, both of us are always inspired by people who are passionate about something.

For this reason, we offer authors, musicians and other artists the opportunity to come and work here for a longer period out of season in peace and quiet, at a reduced rent. With the option, for those who wish to do so and in consultation with the municipality, of exhibiting or organising a performance.

But also master classes or workshops of a week would be a possibility, where we would take care of the care part. During the annual international harp festival in Gargilesse, various musicians from different countries stay with us and there is music all day in and around the house. That tastes like more.
